My name is Sherryl Hearn. I graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2003 with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing, since then I've worked as a Registered Nurse at The Medical Center of Central Georgia on a Medical/Surgical Oncology floor. I'm currently working on a Masters Degree in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner at GCSU and plan to graduate in May 2010.
I'm a counselor for the Junior Girl Campers, and this year was my fourth year as a staff member at camp. I love Camp Little Shot and look forward to the experience each year! I'm not a diabetic, but I've had the opportunity to learn about diabetes and care for diabetic patients through my nursing career and camp experience. Its been a great blessing to work with the children who attend Camp Little Shot! Each year, I enjoy seeing how the kids have grown. My goals as a Camp Little Shot Counselor include being a role model, teacher, healthcare provider, and friend to the kids!
