I'm Ariana, and am the newest Camp Little Shot staff member thanks to a hearty dose of flying eggs to welcome me to the family. I'm not diabetic, but have a much greater understanding of the daily struggles faced by diabetics thanks to Camp Little Shot. I can count carbs, check blood sugars, feed goldfish to sleeping children, but more importantly, I feel like I am a friend to those children who may not otherwise have someone to understand how demanding staying healthy can be.
I look forward to a second year of camp, to see the smiling faces that so kindly greeted me before, and to continue making friendships with some amazing people while making a difference in the lives of children that teach me so much.
